The region is home to Sweden's densest bear population. The 121 daa property mixes spruce, pine and broadleaf stands of medium to high site quality, with a significant share of old forest over 100 years of age. Under an exclusive preservation contract with the landowner, no logging or land conversion will occur for a minimum of 30 years, with a total discounted climate benefit estimated at 1,982 tonnes CO2.
